California Consumer Privacy Act - 2024 Reporting

Introduction

California law requires businesses to report annually on the number of privacy requests they receive each year.  The sections below report the number of requests to know, delete, correct, and opt out of selling and sharing for cross-contextual advertising that we received between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.

* Verizon also received 6 unverified requests to know and 1 unverified request to delete from Digital Secure customers via email in 2024.

** These numbers include the number of requests received through a Global Privacy Control and the number of requests received through Verizon’s consolidated opt-out mechanism on its Your Privacy Choices page from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024.     

Employees and Contractors

Verizon received the following requests from employees and contractors residing in California in 2024. Verizon does not sell or share for cross-contextual advertising the personal information associated with employees or contractors.
